Hi, has anyone got, or come across this system? And can anyone give advice in changing the seals, and o rings, etc...
I have a kit, but no instructions, as to how to take power steering apart, and what to do about refitting and bleeding system. It was already fitted when I got the bus, and I really like it, but it's thirsty, and I got an MOT coming up, and fed up of cleaning up leaks.. It was costly, about £50 for some rubber grommets and copper washers... :-/
Cheers.

Yep, done, thanks... Just there is very little info on the actual servicing process. And was wondering if anyone had any experience with it, that's all.. No worries, I gave at least found out not to use power steering fluid, and instead use hydraulic fluid as it doesn't rot the seals.. But that isn't general knowledge... And the kit comes with not very useful instruction, well.. None, actually.. I am handy, and will give lots of things a go, but when your taking steering apart, and relying on putting it back together, the same day hopefully, as you have no other vehicle, it's useful to have some info before starting?

Yea, ok. It has been a job to do for a long while now, constantly cleaning leaks, but it's a really good system, I noticed the difference when I first had vehicle, and it cut out round corners, I was left with steering like concrete!! I was shocked when I saw the price of the system! I am lucky someone already fitted it... Cheers.

Want to kill the whole goddam thing!! It's un serviceable!!! It simply won't come apart, broken tools prove it... Stupid Allen key bolts... Impossible to get the drop arm ball joint off, I don't know what you call it thing that needs a special tool to get off doesn't budge with tapping/whacking with screwdriver... The ball joint broke my splitter.. Have to put it back on, knowing I'm going to have to take it off again, and it still leaks.. Plus half the service kit, the bits for the pump, and the container aren't included in the kit... Gonna have to complain to Haystee... Spoilt my day, which still isn't over, and it's ****ing hailstones out there...

That could save a myrder case, yes, I will have to see where my nearest service centre is, if there is one.. I may have buggered some of it trying tho... :-/

Is that a joke? Cos I think my sense of humour may have frozen outside, somewhere in the dark...
Just thought I'd post a photo of the 'instructions' that came with the seal replacement set.... ImageUploadedByTapatalk1368307529.266926.jpg

There should have been hex bolt heads where there were Allen key bolth heads, as the torque needed to undo the bolts is too much for Allen key heads, the four way slot hoding the essential leaky seal on the ram is a specialist undo.. The rod bound to the ball joint broke my splitter, trying to seperate, and I stupidly tightened the drop arm balljoint instead of loosening, as I thought it was right hand thread.. My fault, I admit, but the rest was a windup, for sure...
