hi i got a S3 with V6 Ford engine fitted and want to fit a TDI. Obvioulsy with a standard S3 LR engine the 200 TDI engine goes straight onto the exisiting mounts but i'm going to have to move these anyway from the current location suitable for the V6 motor. So on this basis would a 300 TDI be as easy for me as a 200. will the motor bolt right onto the S3 gearbox obviously with obligatory extra holes. Also what about the clutch, is it same deal as the 200 conversion S3 friction plate and TDI pressure plate. Any advise much appreciated.

200 and 300 clutch are the same ,300 vac pump and footwell issues easy to remove and blank if not needed for servo theres more than enough studs line up with gearbox if ones that dont line up are removed will need to make fresh chassis mounts ti suit 300 engine mounts, cross member under flywheel housing may need modding

200 a lot easier in fact a piece of ****
Google glencoyne engineering for pics details etc
