td6 gearbox question

some time ago i was experiencing gearbox fault but after a few oil changes and a filter change every thing seemed ok, but recantlly my 03 plate td6 seems to be holding onto gears longer than it should, if i flick lever across to manaul then straigh back again it will change gear straight away , can you get a gearbox software up date or does it sound like some thing is on its way out

hello mate, there is a software update available for the gearbox and several other systems. i just had all the systems updated which cost 60 quid, pretty resonable i thought although i havnt noticed any difference to be honest. i didnt have any problems to start with though but hopefully it will sort yours out.
