Td5 Fuel Filter

With ref to a recent post regarding a noisy fuel pump it was suggested to try changing the fuel filter.Am i correct that the filter looks very much like an oil filter and is situated under the right wheel arch.Also any tips on removal and refit would be a great help,is there anything that should be done after refitting that is important.TD5 DISCO 2000 REG

Yep.

be very carefull if it has an electrical contact, they are prone to braking off... not all of them have it though

you'll need the priming procedure... have a search on here for it

Thanks matey,changed fuel filter today and carried out prime process as per your advice.Pump has gone quiet at present,test will be when the fuel drops to the lower level.
