Basically which ones to avoid and which ones are good.

Also any other parts I need to get.

Thanks

Martin

I put a post up the other day "Year old hub knackered" regarding Paddocks OEM hubs. I had to eat a large slice of humble pie, as the hub was not knackered at all. So based on that, I would recommend Paddocks. OEM hub is now £145 + vat. I have since replaced the offending hub (not the one i thought it was) with another from Paddocks.

You can get them now for £50 new on ebay as for quality.
So far so good time will tell.
No probs in fitting as long as you have a 3/4 knuckle bar
As the hub nut is very tight and I have previously broke a 1/2 knuckle bar.

thanks so I will see what the local dealers have it to geta comparison but sounds like Paddocks have a good deal!

Ribble Valley 4x4 do them for £48 with 12 month warranty. LR Trade Parts do them for about £60, again with 12 month warranty, although theirs comes with a new O-ring (for rear hubs) and new hub bolts (fronts are long than rears - I got sent the wrong set, but kept them anyway and just re-used the old bolts).

I think there's new stake nuts included from either source.

Went to the local specialist, prices not brilliant but not bad, but of course no postage.

Ignore cheap ones, never had a comeback from the reasonable ones, and they also do OEM.

So will get the middle one and see how it goes.

The garage near work has changed these before and can do they pretty quickly.
