:)well in high wycombe we had about 8 inches of snow at the weekend, first time to try out my td5 i've had about 5 months, all the drivers who shot past me months ago, all of a sudden didnt look so smug, diff lock on, in second gear, feet off the clutch and gas, and up i went, right to the top of Hamilton Hill, didnt skip a beat, even when i had to get out of the way of a lexus 4x4 comming down backwards all wheels spinning in the other direction!!!, then an audi- same problem, as i went past, someone shouted smug ba****d, well i was going to stop and help, but decided not too, lads on here said to me once you have your 90 for a few months you start to love it--well theyre right, what an immense vehicle, these are very special vehicles, and i LOVE EM !!!

sorry to bore you but i had to tell someone,Merry xmas everyone have a good one

Isn't it just the best feeling? It's funny that it seems to be the arses that don't like to see Land Rovers on the road in the summer getting in the way of their lovely soft tops and Jags that then rely on us to pull them out of ditches in the winter cos they can't drive!!
I've rescued four people in the snow the last two days but I made sure they were old folks or there were kids in the car before I stopped to help. Boy racers, Toffee noses and Chavs can stay right where they are :)

Had the same feeling the other day as I watched an Audi sliding up and down a hill. On it's fifth attempt I offered some help :)

Awesome feeling int it? my mate earned £175 over two nights towing stuck cars around here the other week, I'm gutted that we have'nt had anymore snow yet. Perhaps if everyone on here turned up, we could get the south of the country moving again, would'nt that be something to put on the 10 o'clock news!:D:D:D Merry Xmas too you all!

It's a great feeling, but at the bottom of our road I stop and put snow chains on as we can get up to 2ft of snow here. The only problem is every 1 km you have to back away from a massive mound of snow that you have built up in front of you and drive round it - that really mucks the Larda's up!!!!

Merry Christmas to one and all

I sent this to a non4x4 friend of mine, pass it on if you can,
To all the drivers with big car syndrome, your BMWs and Mercedes don't look so shiney parked up at the side of the road covered in snow, merry christmas from a landrover owner!!! :)
