Alright so just bought my first Land Rover yesterday, noticed a few things here and there as to expect for a motor that has been off the road for a little while but nothing too exciting…

The O/S Rear Trailing Arm bracket is almost completely corroded from the chassis leg… is there any made up brackets I can purchase that can be welded on to the leg? Or will I have to fabricate brackets of my own?

Any help or pointers are much appreciated…. cheers

They don't normally rust too badly, so you could try a breakers yard.
From memory they bolt onto the chassis rail (maybe bolt and weld), although I can't imagine that the bolts will come out easily.

It should looks like this :

You should look every else to see if there is no rust, this parts only rust because the car goes on muddy terrain and was never cleaned after.

Good luck removing the bolts …

You need need also new bolts like ANR5336, ANR5340 and a spacer RYF100440.
