D3, rear door not opened completely owing to me parking too close to a tree, net effect, closed the door and consequently rear door not working now!! On pressing the 'emergency release' the door opens with a friend pulling during the emergency procedure. So, the fuse is ok, the actuator is working as the button for the bottom part of the door working perfectly. I know it could be the handle itself, but it seems really unlikely. I reckon it's out of sync.

I tried a 'hard reset', to no joy!!

Anyone else had this? HELP!

hello there you will require a handle its very common water gets in behind the switch and corrodes it lost count on how many i fitting if you open it using the emergency way pop the ns trim down on the boot pannel 3 10 mm nuts and a plug then theres 4 torx bolts your problery find the captive nuts will spin so pry the handle off of the captive nuts then hold them with locking pliers and undo hay prestso

cheers mike

Thanks Mike07986, it turned out that a new handle did the trick, surprisingly it cost just over £50!! Fitted, I think the new handle is smaller, but it looks the part! Just the one bolt didn't undo easily, but it was simple to remove overall. Just shows how wrong I was with my original post!! Cheers again!
