Swinging Doors !!

Hi,

The two front doors on my 1998 Disco 300tdi ES swing fully open to the extent that the rubber moulding on both the wing and door foul on each other.

Do I need to change the "check straps" or can I adjust the existing ones ?

Are they easy enough for a DIY job ?

you need to check the aperture in the door where the checkstrap fits to see if its distorted or not first

when i seen this thread title i thought someone was gonna tell us jim morrison was bi-sexual

As far as I can assess the aperture in the door is fine, no distortion. Is the check strap the culprit ?
