SWB upper seatbelt mounts

Since replacing my hard top with a full tilt I have no where to mounts the upper part of the seat belt, please help as I cant find anything out about upper mounting kits

The official way is either with a seatbelt bar (like a mini rollbar (but it isnt!)). Or a military rollbar.

There are other ways, but those are the best.

Putting in harnesses and bolting them into the rear bulk head also works

is that just fastened to the rear tub not the actual rear bulk head?

Looks good but you might want to pad it.. get rear ended and you might get more than whiplash..

Andy, that is the proper seatbelt bar I mentioned. It is designed for the job (but is NOT a roll bar). You can get them a bit cheaper than that though I think, you will have to search though, sorrt, I lost my link to it.

Easy to fit though! I mounted my reels directly on the mounts and not on the tub bulkhead. You will need inertia reels that are suitable for multi position mounting or the restraining pendulum thing won't work. In one pic it is not yet fully mounted.

Do you think it will work with the reel at the bottom? thats where its mounted on mine as I got it.

So Andy, you have the reel on the floor by the seatbox, across to the stalk and then up to a bracket near the roof? If so, that should be fine I think but obviously with it terminating on the seat belt bar.

Andy, i think the part number for the seat belt bar is MRC7354
