Swapped my O2 Reg Mondeo for this lol

So in short it stands me at £750. Proud as punch!
It seems like it has been restored then the solex carb float was sticking but aided in showing a well overdue gasket overhaul, Starter seems to be sticking and handbrake return springs had gone so ordered a few bits today and hopefully they will be ere in the morning along with the sun

Yeah what i meant to say was it has been dry stored for 3 years after the possible restoration either that or it's tidy as hell!

I think even if it was fudged the cost of repair could only be held accountable as a bag of penny sweets compared to that of these modern fandangled shhhh...

Wouldnt say i was a good mechanic at all just know the names of whats wrong actually doin all the gasket overhauls etc is going to be a fun day at school for me lol

Doubt it but just to be sure im gonna give it a coat of nato green so its all one colour as the passenger door is black with the top welded on for some reason but came with nearly new bottom half of door in the back! (LH Door top was on the list of special deliver parts for the morning im not gonna sleep tonight lmao

my sisters 01 mondeos gearbox gave up a few years ago the bloke fixing it got one for 350 then a dual mass fly wheel and hydraulic bearing and clutch later well over a grand including labour ,,piece of ****....:doh:

not gonna be about for a few more days collection disco axles and other bits tomorrow then Friday getting new trans box and rear winch bumper, then I'm gonna fit it all
