Suspension height calibration blocks.

I know someone on here turned some nylon ones at some point - does anyone sell them? I'd like to play with the suspension calibration programme on my Lynx but don't want to risk running it without suitable blocks and I'm far too busy (lazy?) to make some. Ta.

I agree, I just wanted to run through the Lynx EAS calibration programme out of idle interest.

The Landrover blocks LRT-60-003 are only suitable for T4 as far as i know. You would need a full set of all sizes to do all heights with Lynx.

This is what I want to find out - I was led to believe the Lynx recalibration is exactly the same as T4 testbook.

Just cut up some bits of hardwood.

As far as i can see the Land rover blocks just give you high and low settings i think T4 extrapolates the others from that info. But i have never used it so don't know for sure.

Thanks chaps I have got a copy of that already - I was just being lazy. I've got plenty of scaffold tubing and a good cutting disc - I wonder if I could get away with sections of scaffold cut to suitable lengths?

Don't see why not. I made some in the past from hardwood offcuts, but must admit prefer using the eas software and a marked stick.

The blocks fit inside the bump stops to give a height from bump stops to chassis. Scaffold tube would not do that.

I made my blocks from this:
30mm Dia NYLON 66 Rod NATURAL 500mm Long Engineering Plastics WHITE Billet Bar | eBay
Dont have a lynx but a nanocom and the size of blocks is in wammers "how to".
Cant agree when you guys say that is easier to calibrate with marked stick.

Island 4x4 do them for £125 +VAT. Lend them to me when you're done!

How much? Are they gold plated? Do they come with a spare butler?

If you think that's bad, look for the price of the ball joint removal and hub height setting tools. They will make your eyes water.
