Hi i have recently bought a 99 freelander diesel that was off the road for 12 months It is now on the road but is lumpy on tick over especially when cold
and sometimes cuts out when approaching rounrabouts but will start straight back up
also the engine management light is on
is this an injector fault

You'll need to plug it into a diagnostic computer to find out if it's an injector fault.

Try grabbing hold of the loom that comes up the front of the engine onto the injector pump, they used to suffer from broken wires in that part of the loom.If you flex it around,(Gently) with the engine idling you may find it as the engine will probaby stop when the broken ends move apart.
its just an idea, and will cost nothing but dirty hands - worth a try ?
