I've had this message on the display since I had to close the sunroof manually the other day after failure of the switch pack. The sunroof appears to be fully closed and is not leaking (thank heavens). :rolleyes:Is there a way of getting rid of the message or do I need to plug in to the software to reset?

have you tried winding it all the way shut then back a little? i'm sure they lock off the electric mechanism when you use the manual over ride and need to be locked back on to the leccy drive system!

hey, if the elecs are working now just open the sunroof fully and then close it again, then open and close again and it resets itself. you might only have to open and close it once but i cant rememeber. hope this helps

I guess you have read the handbook so you understand about the quarter turn back.

There is no hard fault situation that needs to be reset with a computer.

Have you got your new switch pack through for the windows, sunroof and mirrors?? I would get that installed and then see if you can re-operate the sunroof.

I wouldn't be surprised if the message remains until you have got the new switch pack in and working.

Ordered from Sturgess today, will see what happens when I change the switch pack. I'm also thinking of making up a new pair of battery leads with better quality, heavy duty connectors and new cables- The old ones don't tighten up as well as I'd like any more. I remember really odd messages some time ago when the battery clamps had loosened a bit and there was a battery drain from nearby wireless doorbells etc - it really flummoxed the RAC chap!!!! They vanished with installation of a new battery and I managed to get the EKA entered eventually, after the RAC guy had given up and left. Not relishing the idea of having to do that again!!!

Just a quick one about your battery terminals. undo the terminal, take the bolt out and use a hacksaw blade to cut the slot wider. I take about 2-3 mill off. Put the bolt back and tap the terminal all the way down on the battery post and nip it up. Works a treat and you get a good connection every time.

or place a small screw in the gap close to the post, this is also a quick bodge!
