As title says, if I press the switch just beeps and says sunroof not set, if I keep the switch pressed to try a reset I can hear a click as press the switch under OS dash but nothing happens, put my hand on the motor and cant feel it do anything and I cant open the roof manually. :( do you think the motor has packed in? Thank Andy :D

Never stripped one but when you took the internal light cluster off does it give you access to the motor block connector? If it does then check for live when you operate the switch. If no live check on Rave for the relevant connector on the BECM, as I remember the power goes from the sun roof switch to the BECM then on to the sunroof. Guessing the power must go through a connector at the base of the A post, check them.:)

as an aside, check the switches first. one of my rear windows wouldnt raise up too well, a bit of switch cleaner on the switch and bingo.. the switch location is good for spilt drinks.

There is a sunroof key if you still have it with car (mine didn't when I got it) but you may be able to use another tool. Pop the light cluster out which will reveal the motor and a square (I think) holed mechanism to manually close/open it.
Think the easiest thing would be to get it on diagnostics as it may not be communicating with the becm - and you'll just be guessing at the fault.

Well Gentlemen, it woz easy, woz gona pop the motor off and leave it connected to try it, and f**k me, pulled the wire to disconnect it till got the motor off and it woz. LMFAO so connected it up and woopy f**king doo it works, the roof has had a crap paint job on it and its flakey were the seal sits so think when its been put back its been disconnected so it will not open . Thank you for your Replys gents much Appreciated.
