Glad to hear this thread has helped, tbh I should have taken more photos but once I get started I get lost in the moment and get stuck in, and easily side tracked, and before long the jobs done and I have forgotten to take a load of imageI have the exact same problems and thanks to this thread I can now ( after getting motor0 get it sorted hopefully I did consider getting them plated and welded up as Iv never realy bothered about sunroofs as they are alll just asking to leak IMO
I have tested the sunroof repair yesterday with a hose pipe on sprinkler mode, and left it running for 10mins whilst I checked for leaks, I could see a minute amount of water trying to push through the seal at the front of the rear sunroof, nothing on the front sunroof though. - I know this isn't a proper test so I shall leave the headlining off for a week and await wet weather to check.. knowing my luck their will be a heat wave on it's way
To be honest I would never have undertaken a job like this previously, and I couldn't have done the repair work without the help from the lads/girls on this forum!
