The previous owner of my TD5 was obviously not a member of Landyzone as he has completely sealed the sunroof glass to the frame with some black gutter sealant which has now gone hard. It continued to leak and after I bought it and read the tips on here about leaky sunroofs, a bead of sealant around the roof frame cured the problem immediately. After having a dig about in this black ****e, I am beginning to think that perhaps a replacement sunroof from a scrapper may be the quickest and best option especially as I intend to change the headlining anyway due to a tear in the back. My existing sunroof is a manual version and I am thinking of coverting to electric, taking the feed from the interior light, has anyone done this and is it a straightforward job.
