Hi all,

As the title suggests I have today suffered with a stuck 300tdi alternator.

Having sprayed with some spray grease, (After removing the cambelt!) the alternator is now spinning freely.

Would this be okay to reuse or would you recommend a replacement?

If replacement does anyone know of alternator re-manufacturers in the Oldham area?

Thanks in advance!

If its stuck its cos somthing is wrong. Get is stripped apart and new bearings atleast. But probably cheaper to just get a new one.
