Stoopid Question..

Will 7.50x16 landrover series wheels and tyres fit onto the Disco 2?

I thought it might be a better choice for me to have them for when I go away into the scrub that I can bash about and have truck strength sidewalls on these gibber stones and mallee roots that spike tyres with great alacrity without it costing me $200 everytime.

7.50x16 tyres are a dime a dozen out here. 235/70Rx16s are a little thin on the ground!

I think that they put that size tyres on the early camel disco's. They were a fair bit taller though. I don't think the pcd is the same for the rims though.
