Stone chip or wax oil ?

Hello , I've found a rust spot on my disco 2 , boo hoo , it's on the drivers side , front wheel arch , inside , just other side to my feet . I've wire brushed the area and applied rust stuff , should I finish in wax oil or stone chip , as its directly in line with the tyre fling up area , I love this wagon

I would go stone chip to seal it then a coat of black hammerite under boady seal as it's harder wearing the the waxoyl

thank you fitted me new discs and pads this afternoon and had a quick poke about , looking good indeed , next stop is mr pressure washer
