it was a red one, they were doing well on the getaway until they came to a hill which it couldn't climb, then worse, they went through a puddle, the doors fell off and it was game over, now helping police with their enquiries...

It's strange how you tratterers are picking on fellow land rover owners when sadly their Freelander is stolen. Shame on you.

:behindsofa: having owned several freelanders i feel I am allowed to take the micky.

We are simply making a bad situation (for the owner) a bit more cheerful, we are just glass half full kind of chaps :D

I used to start my JCB with a cheese knife.. :)
It's amazing to think peeps knew plant machinery was so easy to start. Bit like knowing transits didn't have alarms for years so the contents were easy pickings. Same with tratters sadly. It's a shame LR didn't spot that years ago.

Weren't that long ago you could start a jcb with a bent nail. Bit like a tratter.

When i worked at Caterpillar, they installed the same lock/key set on every machine....

So that the owner / operater doesnt need to have lots of different keys to operate a variety of equipment.

Genius!

Ive got several spare keys ;)
