Hi, a couple of months ago the PAS pump started leaking and groaning so I put a new one on, all good until this morning.........
It started making a whining noise at tickover which got worse with revs and much worse when turning the wheel. When I stopped and looked under the bonnet it had blown fluid out of the reservoir cap. The steering still has assistance but the noises are terrible and obviously it shouldn't be blowing fluid out. I'm assuming the pump is ok as it's only done a couple of hundred miles since being fitted. Any ideas?
