steering damper ?

i,ve just noticed that my 1984 90 does not have a steering damper on it but my mates 1997 defender doe,s, I,ve checked underneath and mine has the bracked on the chassis but not on the drop arm linkage,so i after info on should mine have one on or are they a part that is fitted to later models than mine

you can either get 90/110 drag link and damper to put in front or disco track rod and damper to go on rear of axle all parts are bolt on

my 84 has one fitted and looks like it been there since it was built
