How much oil does a standard Series 3 steering box hold?

The manual doesn't list it.

Thanks for any replies.
 
Can't be much more than 1L, you are right, its not detailed in the service manual, as suggested just fill till it runs oot.
 
I did this last weekend. It turned out to be about 500ml.

They obviously missed it when they wrote the manual.
