Starter motor grinding noise

Hi all!. A few months back I had an electrical fault on my starter motor. New one fitted and great for a couple of months and then a really bad grinding noise was heard every time I tried to start it .....bump start OK!... Ohmy starter motor has gone faulty. Back to garage and it was replaced. All good for a few months and now noise is back ...any ideas?

you could have a problem with the ring gear on your fly wheel. that needs to be checked
