I use to own a Defender 200TDi but gave up with it after every time it went into the garage it would cost me over a grand. I currently own a V70 which is comfy, all leather, all air bags, heater that works, no leaks in footwell etc etc.
The problem is, I find myself following Defenders up the A3 driving behind them, staring at them with envy. At the weekend, I found myself sitting in a Freelander TD4 55 plate on a garage forecourt, talking trade in for my Volvo. Although it just didn't feel like the Defender, so I think it's going to be caution to the wind and a 300TDi before I get nicked for stalking on the A3
