srs warning light

Hi to all,
The wiring under passenger seat got damaged i had it reconnected the blue wire and one of the thin orange wires. the srs warning light came on and wont go off. any information would be greatly received. i have been told to replace srs ecu and pre tensioner. i have seen on other forums about cutting the carpet but where exactly and i have a 54 reg freelander td4.

It can happen if you unplug while ignition is on also - I bought mine like this and took a chance.

Make sure wires are back in place and making contact then get yourself to a dealer with Testbook for the SRS to be reset - I had mine done with a Hawkeye and a great guy on here.

As its a safety item it can only be reset by Landrover software.
