Found 1 inch spacers on ebay, listed as 25mm. The nose, belly and tail ground out on inclines and going over humps, axels would only ground out in a deep rutted track.

you have already made your mind up so just fooking buy the things

you clearly don't like the fit new springs and shocks advice given by people with experience of having been there and done it...........

If your springs are knackered and have sagged fitting 1" spacers may only take it back to standard height but with weak soft springs

this was mine before the 2" lift with the worn out springs

and this is after the 2" lift

it has gone up about 3" due to the fact that the old springs were knackered
what I'm trying to say is you ain't gonna have a 1" lifted disco with 1" spacers and old knackered springs

what an utter load of bollix you clearly have no idea on offroad driving.

no amount of suspension/body lift will stop yr axles /diffs from grounding out,and they will over humps/lumps/bumps/mounds/hills whatever you wanna call them

the only way to gain extra clearance is by fitting larger tyres

Your springs and shocks are most likely shagged at that mileage so I wouldn't bother with the spacers and would get a lift kit. I've just put a 2" kit on mine and man what an improvement! Cos the springs had sagged it went up 3", the kit I got was £200 delivered and well worth it (and it dosn't handle crap) plus you can fit 265's then.

Which kit did ya go for pal?
