mine are 5" from boltonbits on fleabay they seem good quality for £34 delivered in powder coated black i managed to get hold of an official landrover wiring kit with a front fog switch also wich fitted easily for the spark who did it, pitty they are just slightly 2 big to squeeze into the bottom grill i need to adjust this at the min as their shining to the trees at the min looks like cutting into the bumper a little..

Hi guys,

I've been slow to realise that most folks don't mean Spot Lamps when they say 'Spot Lamps' - they must mean Driving Lamps.

I gave up on Spot Lamps years ago as they don't give a wide enough beam for most situations - on or off-road.

I also see that Hella don't make 'Spot Lamps' any more - none on their web-site anyway.

I used to run a pair of Driving Lamps and a pair of Fog Lamps on my 2002 pre-facelift.

However the LR Fog Lamps on my 2004 facelift model are quite efficient in my experience of thick fog so don't need any additional fitments.

Now I just have my trusty pair of Hella Driving Lamps wired into the same circuit as the Headlamps - dead simple - no switches needed.

No problems with air-flow into the rad - even in Adriatic Summertime temperatures.

Cheers,

Singvogel.

Hi can u show us a pic of your hella lights fitted???

I'll need to get some new pics of them - but these are the same Hella 'black' driving lamps on my first TD4 just emerging from a minefield in Bosnia in 2004.
