Will the coil springs from a 2004 sport fit on a 2002 model.
I'm lead to believe the sport model was 30 mm lower, but was the suspension totally different to the standard model?

The shocks and springs were different on the sport model but the rest of the suspension was identical. The shocks are stiffer but I believe you could use the standard shocks if you needed to without any issue.

Excuse me if this sounds daft....are you saying I could purchase sport springs and they would go on my standard shocks...fingers crossed;)

Yes, many sports lowering springs for regular cars with about 40mm drop are fitted to the standard shocks. You will get a better ride from matched shocks as well.

Also springs settle so a new set of sport springs may be higher than your stock old springs. Best bet would be for a set of used sport shocks and springs.

Cheers for the heads up bud :tea:
