Spec... High or low?

Well indeed the screen price is a touch odd and would agree trade price is about £600. It appears to have some repair panels already on it so if we said it was sound rust-wise what would we say? In the region of a grand?

I don't understand why you would pay any more than 'trade price'? After all, is this seller going to offer any worthwhile after sales services????

Buy cheap then fix up?

Dave

Well as I said it depends how its looking. And of course I would like to buy at trade price and will endeavour to negotiate toward it however a dealer whos happy to sell their cars at trade isnt going to remain a dealer for long. Its the same as the parts - if you saw what the auto factors paid for some of their parts you'd cry.

Well for anyone interested.... I OWN A LAND ROVER! WOOOO! So interestingly went looking at a low spec S... It was OK but fair amount of rust, interior was fairly grim generally didnt 'feel' right. So feeling a bit dejected after driving over an hour to see it went dowb the road and bought a 97 XS Auto! Here is a quick shot at the dealer. Onto the list of fixes etc and will get some more shots and a post about my doings soon.

Fantastic news! Get some more pics up when you can! Nice colour too.

Enjoy it :D

Also, is that a Ferrari air freshener?! The previous owner was obviously deluded :p

That looks very nice Tom, hope you didn't pay too much for it. XS is a nice trim level.

Dave

Yeah the Ferrari airfreshner was obscure and now resides happily in the bin. As for the cost.... Well its only money, I can always make some more!
