Hi guys, just a quicky. Have a 4.0 v8 2001. Doing a service on the old girl and plumped for NGK BPR6ES plugs, not the recommended Champion jobs. My question is do I still set the gap to Land Rover recommendation, even though they`re different plugs or should I be looking for a different gap. Any ideas greatly appreciated.... Thanks...

Gap them as recommended by NGK. Which will more than likely be exactly the same as the Champions. About .0039" should do nicely.

Thanks Wammers. Did the service yesterday. Car was running a little lumpy before the service. After the service she was smooth as silk for about 20 miles then returned to being lumpy. Any ideas?
