Some pics of my new Rangie

As per requests, here's some pics of my new Rangie. Couldn't find any decent ones of the wife though!!

She's a 2005 model L322, 3.0TD, in Adriatic Blue.

Yep, adriatic blue is a sweet colour when she's polished up, nice to know I've got other rangie owners with the same colour motors....black is just too common!!

She was registered in November 2004, but the vin and spec is for the 2005 model. She's got all the bits that went on when they brought out the updated model.

Gonna say she has the touch screen Nav which was 2005....so I am guessing your vin starts 5AXXXXXX?

Spot on Saint, the vin starts SALL, guess I've bin lucky and got a rangie that came out early.

Touch screen sat nav, bluetooth, all the bells and whistles...and it's even got a built-in venture cam.....or as the wife calls it.. a DOGGING CAM!!! LOL

I can see you have ty touch screen nav from the facelift
Just without the facelift interior or exterior it seems ??

You won't be lucky when the electronics in the NS rear gets wet as is common, that lot costs an arm and a leg to replace

Another thing to put on my list of preventative maintenance measures!

A big thanks to all the guys on Landyzone for their words of wisdom, as I'm one of those people who like to make sure things don't go wrong rather than waiting for them to happen and react/shell out a fortune/cry afterwards.

The rangie has a full landrover service history, but I've already arranged to have the gearbox, etc., serviced, oil and filters changed and any other little bits sorted. It may cost me a bit, but it will be nowt compared to a new gearbox!!

I looked at this when it was for sale on autotrader the other month, its the same pics from the ad that you have posted, travelled a long way too to see it but I didint buy it. Its not a facelift model either btw, not that thats a bad thing really just saying its the same as the one I did eventually buy although mines an 05 plate. Lots of problems getting the right parts as its on the changeover year where its half canbus and half most. Any advice you need mate give us a shout as im pretty well to grips with mine now. Also where are you based in UK?

All Landys start SALL....

I asked if the unique number for yours (The last digists) starts 5AXXXXXX which indicates a 2005 model!

Nice colour (I prefer dark blue to black), although it is a pitty you got the Chuckie version. The facelift exterior is much nicer imho.

Isn't that why LR came out with the LR branded plastic bag you wrap the electronics up in?

Soz Saint, my eyesight was playing tricks... Yes the VIN has 5A followed by 6 final numbers.

Also checked the VIN on the TopIX landrover site and it comes up with the 2005 Model.
