I'm sure I am not alone being smug....driving through the deep snow while boring japanese hatchbacks struggle to even move at all!!

I went to Southport beach today (Just north of Liverpool) and had the expanse of it almost to myself - except for a Disco and some guy in an Audi Quattro who almost bottomed out!

its good fun laughing at the less capable vehicles :D, but we don't have any snow over here in New Zealand, its summer and a rainy one at that.

unfortunately i dont have a series landy...yet.....but im hoping that problem will be solved soon. have to make do with a freebie and a 90 just now. but edinburgh had the best snow in years. using the 90 as a tractor for heavier recoveries as the heaters not working, the freebie has towed out 4 cars and 2 vans so far.

how is a series for powerslides in the snow? the freebie can kick its back out nicely once the 4x4 kicks in and powers the rear axle. freebie is so agile a slide is fun not scary. whats a series like? i plan to change freebie and 90 for a 109 station wagon very soon

I'll happily swap with you. I like winter, but i'd love to go to NZ.

Snow pictures just uploading as we speak...

Nice Pics those.

Good looking tyres on DBV 224B

I know the subject has been done to death...but I wish to God there was an effective and not expensive way of getting the cab warm on a series. Even being a fat bloke with lots of layers of clothes on I nearly freeze to death.

My propshaft was encased in ice when I set off today...nasty cracking sound as I moved off..but it all seems to still be working!

Call that snow?!? I have more than that on my drive! :mil80:

I have stated one of these pictures as my justification to wearing socks and sandals, folks down south went blissfully quiet on the production of this evidence. :D

(The SIII was on farm duty as my parents Td5 Disco has broken down... again.)
