Snorkels

I've been looking for a snorkel but my truck was originally a 2.5d and it's now a 300, it's still got original wings so the vent is on the top!
Does anyone no the best place to get a snorkel that enters in the top or am I better off cutting the wings?

I made up my own over the wing snorkel. A muffler shop bent up the piping and I cut out the wing vent blank and welded things together. The top I bought from R&C on Ebay UK. I spent less that $150 US on the entire project including screws and paint.

for the op, you can pick up cheap standard 300tdi snorkles if you just cut the wing.

That looks excellent! But I think I will end up cutting the wing and buying a 300 already made lol!

I have been off roading for almost 40 years. I try to mount anything and everything on the front or the back of the vehicles as to not rip things off of the side. That's just me and I have no idea what your greenlaning terrain is like. Just something else to consider and remember, pictures or it didn't happen.

Get a southdowns fella got one on mine. Just goes through top of the wing about an 1" off the bulkhead. Doesn't stick out so can't get ripped off. Depends if you like em' or hate em'!!

That looks smart enough like where's best place to buy them?
