Can you get that deep without it floating?
I suppose the Td4 and KV6 are pretty weighty. No chance with a K or L series.

For me water isn't the issue, and I agree that the K series FL1 would most likely be afloat by the time a snorkel was required. However, I'd love one for dust exclusion - would save my air filter. I have a CAF under the left guard and it does seem prone to sucking in more road/trail dust than the st'd set up.

It will. The 1.8 is the only FL1 that has the engine bay air pick up. All others pick up air from the right hand inner wing area and do suffer off road rubbish getting into the filter housing.

Both snorkels are finished. Left and right versions. Doing photos at the weekend. My blue L Series facelift now has one :D

Couldn't wait. What do you reckon? All fully connected and working:D

Looking good! Is that circlip stainless steel?

As with most snorkels, having a template to make the hole in the wing is going to be important - how is the snorkel-wing interface managed?

I have a template. It does both sides. There's about 4" of pipe inside the wing to connect the flexi too. The snorkel pipe is stainless. The clip will be. The top isn't. I have to buy them in.
