Snorkelling....!

I love the look of the Mantec Plastic Jobby snorkel, much more streamlined.

However I don't believe this would fit my defender a 1986 with a disco 2.5tdi engine currently has a safari snorkel which sits on the passenger side of the vehicle and the Mantec Plastic Jobby sits on the drivers side...

Is there a way...?

Just cut a hole in the wing to suit the mantec one and run flexi tube to the air box like normal?
