Hi I've got a disco 1 300tdi. I noticed that after a recent rtv my airbox had taken in a lot of water and the air filter had suck itself inwards. Luckily everything is fine.
My question is if i fit a snorkel kit will this put me into a modified class for RTV competitions.
Or is there anything I could do to keep it as standard class apart from keeping out of the water. At the moment I have turned the intake pipe from the wing to inside the engine bay.

modified class for what? competitions or insurance? If it's competitions I know nothing, if it's insurance, then adding a snorkel is a modification so yes... Am i missing something?
