Tried Simoniz back to black bumper and tyre gel today on my bumper and trim, really pleased with the results.

The bumper was looking a faded and tired, but this product has really made it look good again.

Anyone else tried it, or recommend anything else that works well?

carplan black trim wax put it on with a shoe brush and left it to dry makes the car look like new again

GT85 works well or good old fashioned boot polish I get both cheap so just a tight fisted git really. but both work well !!!:)

If you want something that will last ages try C4 permanent trim restorer by Gtechniq. It's not cheap, but it is excellent stuff. Have a look on their website. Gtechniq.com

i've tried a 'carplan black trim wax' / 'armor all '.. 50/50 mix in-a-jar ..
worked fine .. slight added shine ..
and to experiment further ..
added some silicon-grease-ptfe spray to the back trim 'n wheel cover ..
mainly to see if the ptfe element would keep it cleaner for longer ..
worked as expected ..

i figure on giving it a good clean plus protective coating pre-summer and pre-winter
in between it just a regular over and under pressure wash now and again ..

Second the linseed oil/peanut oil and the heat gun method. Used the heat gun on my old grey bumpered Freebie and it came up a treat. Was still good after a year when I sold it.
