side exit exhaust?

yo am lookin to buy a side exit exhaust for my 07 plate tdci defender, had a quote off twisted performance which was £524+VAT which is canny steep like. anyone know anywhere else to try?

no such thing as an of the shelf side exit apart from gwyn lewis but there for tdis and they look gash
twisted exhausts are **** hot though to be fair if i were you id think about it

longlife will make you a stainless steel. for my scirocco, modifying 4 branch manifold, new centre section with box and rear box with choice of ips i paid £200.

so must be about £100 i'd guess.

Try finding a local custom exhaust manufacturer, mine was made by a mate who works for Hawleys in Sheffield, they're a Powerflow dealer. Exhausts - Custom Stainless Steel Exhausts - Powerflow Exhausts - High Performance Sports Exhaust Systems.

just a quick one does anyone know if a de cat pipe will pass an MOT for emission??

defo does on a tdi/td5 not sure about your tdci though mate

so it does pass on the td5 with the de cat pipe, does it make any different with the de cat pipe? more power etc!!!!

yes as im sure some early td5 were sold without them
ye should be a power increase and better mpg

the most expensive bit on my side eggsource was the d44 trim finisher

ye there a rip off new, i never used one i got mine coming out of the cheque plate rear corner looks good if i may say so

just a case of using existing parts and some pipes cutting and welding to suit
