My question is what's better, I have a 2 inch lift on my lr disco, I want more travel, so do I; a, get 2 inch drop turrets & rear shock brackets or b, get +5 inch shocks, & if I put +5 inch 1's on is there anything I need 2 worry about??

Yeah had thought bout that, I have a 2 inch body lift so that plus the longer shocks would been I need plus 7 inch brake lines..

I have a 2" spring lift with +5 shocks on the front but standard on the back that I'm looking to change to +5 pin to pin. my brake lines seem to be fine on the road but due to the standard rear shocks I haven't tested them with any articulation yet but getting extended brake lines is on my list just to be on the safe side and to be ready for a 2" body lift that I want to do. looking about I can only find +6 inch extended flexi's. does anyone know if thats the longest or if its a case of relocating where the solid lines fit to the flexi's to get any further length?

Yeah I've only eva seen +6 inch brake lines as well.. The only thing I can think of is to find sum1 who makes them & get a set made 2 whteva length we like or the other idea I had was moving the bracket down on2 chassis off the body, so it's lower down..

Are you wanting to put +5 shocks on the front or the rear? If the rear then it doesn't matter as they run across the axle, the place you get the stretch is the flexi near the A frame. However what you need to remember is you probably get full droop on both sides while offroading/laning. If your wanting to put them on the front chances are you won't get 5" extra of travel due to the steering set up etc.

I run +5 on the rear of my disco and I've got -2" tubular turrets on the front, I just bought the longer of the extended one's you can get, 150mm iirc. Nothing custom or anything.

+1 for Llama 4x4.
Dave made all of my custom brake lines. Top job, top bloke.

He made all the brake lines for Mr. Noisy's set up too.

I have just bought Goodridge +4s and thats with +2 springs & shocks -2 turrets and a 2" bodylift. Wouldnt mind changing the hard pipe that runs to the caliper with flexi though so will see if Llama can do those :)

Ty Mark, makes interesting reading.. Yeah I'm just after getting sum extra travel, just 2 keep all 4 wheels on the grounded..
