Hi

I'm sure this has been asked many times before.
I have an 03 Disco 2 and want/need to replace shock and springs.

I don't want a lift but have rock sliders added and intend to add heavy duty front and rear bumpers.

All the kits seem to be 2" lifts.

I have one supplier recommending Bearmach Blue +25mm and Terrafirma all terrain shock which I'm thinking of purchasing.

Anyone got experience of this set up or other advice would be appreciated.

Thank

never had the Bearmach springs, but the many other items I have had from them have been ok.

If you don't want a lift, why not get standard OEM.

When I changed the springs on my 90 a few years ago, I got standard genuine, they weren't actually terribly expensive, about £40 each IIRC.

Thanks - looked at standard genuine - but were quoting €116 to €140 each

That is outrageous! Somebody must be making a fortune on that, or maybe they are just a lot more than 90 springs. I have often found Landrovers parts pricing to be very inconsistent.

Have a look on the net for OEM, see what you can get. Might be cheaper to order in the UK, if you can get a reasonable price on delivery.

If you read his post you will find he doesn't want to lift it! ;)

He is just struggling to find standard height springs at a comparable price to 2"+.

Oops, I just saw lift

Hmm ask at a specialist I suppose if noone here knows
