Hi all just a question to see how much roughly I should expect to pay to get my freelanders annual service done?thanks in advance

Do it yourself mate :). Filters cost peanuts (about £10 for the ones you'll need annually) and oil isn't too much either. Otherwise it's much like any other car and you'll be coughing up £100 odd at most garages for basic oil and filter change - though they don't always do all the filters.

How many miles per year do you do? Service intervals are done in miles, not years. If you do a high milage but only service it once per year then you may be putting the car at risk. I would stongly suggest you read up about it, the Hayne's manual has a fantastic chapter on servicing. Even if you don't want to get your own hands dirty, at least then you'll know exactly when to take it in and what services you'll want the mechanics to do.

This isn't a car you can neglect without consequence, best of luck :).

Will.

Try ebay!
I got a full 72k service kit from Manford LandRover dealer for £96 inc delivery for my TD4.
That had, air, oil, fuel, pollon, crankcase and a new battery for the key.

I just had to buy oil and did most by myself, i left the fuel to the garage when it got mot'd though.

Just avoid Britpart kit's. Or Britpart's in general.

Interesting you say this about Britpart, I ordered a service kit from fleabay, box arrived and all parts were Britpart. But I had no problems with either the quality or fitting, so I'm not sure what you base your adverse comments about them on? Pollen filter fitted fine, old on hadn't been done from new by the look of things, ditto the air filter / fuel filter. But all sorted now.

Back to the OP post, as has been said on here, if you aren't servicing it yourself, then find a recommended garage that can be trusted to do all the work that should be done. Between £100-£400, dependent on what needs doing, and then if anything extra is required, point your finger in the air and guess ;)

Clutch master cylinder that lasted 4000 miles before dying again, part from britpart. Also seen plenty of examples of parts from them that were substandard or didnt fit.
That and buying a set of pads from their stand at a LRM show, 3 of them all confirmed the pads would fit my 04 model freeby.... They didn't. I got sold pads for a 97-00 model.

I now only buy genuine parts or search for good quality suppliers.
