Yes. And you can plug it in either way as it’s only a bulb. :)
Obviously you can’t even be considered a series owner unless you own one. Sadly they are hundreds of pounds and only the elite have them :oops:
 
Interestingly I picked up a box of 10 or so from MOD-SALES.... years ago for about £150... sold them on eBay over a year and the price I got varied, some went for £19, others went for £65....

Yes but it would almost be as sad as putting them in a series headlight.
Depends if you want to keep it on the mantle for display with your antique pipe rack and and set of horse brass or actually take it out and use it. I am looking to make an equivalent form an old led work light I have as I want a usable inspection light to plug into the dash rather than a display piece. Its a bit like I would rather have working fire extinguisher than one of the old pyrene canisters!
