hello all,
rebilding some series door tops anybody got some pictures of completed ones, preferably where the bottom channel and alloy bits go spacing wise.

i know i should have taken pics first before stripping the tops..

got the parts catalogue, got door new tops, got new channel, got new alloy glazing kit.... but just need to see the physical spacings to make sure it fits as there seem to be some big gaps when i dry build..

obviously nobody likes a good challenge any more..;)

thanks crashbox great help:D, can never find a landy to look at when you need one, treeman i bought the resto book in the hope that it might help, but its not that good a lot of it needs updating:doh: glad i got it on amazon for a tenner with no delivery charge..:5bbanghead:.
got some room in the garage now as well just scrapped a chassis and rear tub so might get it done soon.
thats if the wife will let me....

had a go but ended up taking the fixed glass back out again as i think it needs to be spaced back a bit... bastard.......

the light has just turned on....... place the fixed glass in the frame but dont fix, fix the locking mechanism and line up the window channel, fix this and also the sliding pane and top and side channels, carefully turn the top over and seal the fixed glass with sealant, allow to dry turn back over and attatch the last ally strip to the front inside edge... it might just work..

saw a ready glazed top earlier think it was paddocks.... not impressed, glad i chose the awkward route..
