Possible help please,
I'll try and explain,
(2a 109 1969)
When my red knob is forward (high box)should my yellow knob be down,as mine is,and when I put red knob in(low box)the yellow knob pops up,
I can then only get it out of low box by pushing down on yellow knob and at same time push red knob forward.
I don't think this is right but what could be wrong.not had truck long so never tried it before.
I've a couple of videos to post may explain better but I think I will have trouble posting them but I will try
 
when red lever is forward yellow should be up held by the long spring around the rod, thats 2wd high, with the lever forward if you push yellow down thats 4wd high, to get yellow back up to 2wd you have to pull red lever fully back then forward again after yellow pops up, if you want 4wd low just pull red back dont touch yellow
on the end of the gear box out put housing is a tin cover behind it theres the ends of 2 selector shafts these seize in the housing but need to move, when yellow is up and you pull back on red the outer selector should move forward,

Cant seem to post up my short videos but when looking at end of transfer box with end cover removed you have a shaft top left (nearest driver)is this soposed to move as mine seems rusty and stuck
