Series 2 wipers - size?

i would have just popped the blade assembly off the new arm and stuck it on the existing arm, and by the looks you have series 3 arms on there, as the 2a had straight arms with no bend near the blade assembly only the later ones have the bent arm, you can still get the earlier arms for a 2a, i had the same problem as with arms because the man did not know i was trying to get parts for the 2sinlge motors set up like yours, and he had no idea what i was talking about and went to to say that the later ones were what the computer said would fit which it dont as i had the same problem witha set off a s3 for my 2a. any way you are ok then.
