series 11 stuck in reverse !!!!

Hi everyone. Fingers crossed one of you clever people out there will be able to shed some light on this for me. I started my landy today for the firdt time this month, put it in reverse to rock it back and forth - just to keep everything free whilst its not being used. i stalled it in reverse, heard a bit of a clunk and now it is stuck solid in reverse. Its a brand new series 11 box,clutch and transfer box. If its done 250 miles in 18 months that is it. Any ideas?????

Sounds like either a cog in the box or a fork in the box have sheered off. Less it's the connecting rod/cable snapped off somewhere. It's not going to be pretty but if it's brand new and under warrenty get it taken back.

try taking the tunnel off then the gear stick and see if you can move the gear selector
