Just went to pick up a new set of rear shocks for the 110, was asked if it has self levelling fitted or not (it does).

Due to this it put an extra £55 on each shock, are shocks for cars with self levelling units any different or are they taking the **** and should I just buy the ones I was going to. (Without the extra £110 )

Thanks,

£55 extra!? 'Kin hell, they shouldn't even cost £55 each anyway! What brand have you gone for? Genuine?
I wouldn't have bothered with the self-levelling option really, regular shocks would have worked fine. Does the self-leveller work anymore? If it does, you've got a very rare piece of engineering, as most ceased working many moons ago!

Got a set from local landy dealer on way home earlier he said it didn't make any difference and the self levelling unit as you said bluedog won't be working anyways.

Thanks all,
