Hi

I'm Jon (Rif) a newby to the group and currently renovating a 1968 ex RAF series three (Reg 1972) 109 landy it had a six cylinder engine long ago and now has a transit engine (Diesel) at present I am currently looking to fit a 300tdi in to it.

I notice back in 2011 someone posted a similar request for these and there seemed to be no response, so I hoping times have changed!
I wondered if anyone might have knocking around a spring or pair of spring preferably for some Selectro free wheeling hubs, I have a set that are in great condition and the only fault is that one of the springs have rotted away these are a 3 pronged spiral spring that are mounted on the back of the selection knob and as you turn the knob the screw in on a thread to push the spline gears into place, I can send over some photos if I haven't explained it very well.
Its a pity to put them in the bin as they are in perfect condition excluding the spring.

If anyone has some in an old set or they know where I can get some it would be great to hear from you

Best regards

Jon

Not come across any spares for these but if you can find a local spring maker they will easily copy the good one for you for not much money.

Thanks for that though hadn't even considered that as a possibility, I will try it out with a local guy and see what they can do, I must admit in the past if I have asked for something bespoke they normally want an arm and a leg for it, but I will give it a go. I have found a company in the states that have them (Mile marker) but they want £21 for the spring and the £85 to send them, I have a feeling they don't want any business from the UK.

Just found a Diagram that might better explain the part I need it the spring attached to part 10 in the diagram.

Thanks

Sorry to resurrect this old thread, but did you find the missing/broken spring ?
If not anyone know how much a set of selectro hubs worth with a broken spring ?
